When in landscape and you pull down the status bar all the icons are to the left.

And is there anyway to remove the empty space where the carrier usually goes so there isn't such a big gap between the icons and notifications?

having trouble with the carrier bar, every time I try and edit the xml for that the status bar force closes
I was able to do it with no problem on the revolution

that same xml controls the toggles too
