Root Themed Mms

Aww man i have to do searching:/ jk I looked at a few themes but didn't fined much. I guess i can look some more.
 
Just because I only like my stuff and hate everyone else's and think it looks like crap (I kid I kid)

But I like Cyan 4 2's mms the most. Even out of others Ive done

I looked through those too, but the problem is only half of them actually have pictures of the MMS as a screenshot. So the only way to really do it is to actually download and install and see if you like it which is tedious.

On a related note, is there a walkthrough on how to change the colors of the MMS bubbles? Not the text, but the actual bubbles. I see that mrpnut is pretty handy with that, but I was wondering if it is as simple as changing a specific line of code for the hex color in the values or is there more to it?

Yes its simple. Not line just images. Their in the drawable folder

Actually I am currently using yours right now and have been for a while. Thank you. I just noticed that he has blue and green in one and pink and purple in another.

I see them now. They are .9 images. Thank you for pointing me in the right direction.

Ahahah thx bro but I actually get the images from shinyside credit goes out to him ;)
 
Here's a trick/cheat for. 9s mms bubbles . their not easy to edit like pngs. So you can cheat. Use the market :D search the market at sms themes like go launcher themes and such. Find a theme you like and download it. Use 7 zip to extract the apk and then pull out the bubbles. Rename them to the same name as the original bubbles and put them in your apk. ;)

In cyan42 I actually used the same images as the bubbles as I used for the menus.

uploading now. ;)

Move the mms.apk to your sd card, now open Root Explorer or similar app and navigate to the sd card and locate the mms.apk. Long press on it and click copy, hit the back arrow key and navigate to /system/app/ and click paste. It will ask you do you want to overwrite and choose yes. Afterwards reboot the phone and ENJOY. ;)

yea shiny's mms theme is awesome he sent it to me and pg a while back made me wanna start a new theme for my phone that same color lol
