Root Themeing Question

How do you change the system highlight color? For example the default in Velocity 1.1 is the stock android "yellow", whereas in Frunisher and the old Raptor, the highlight color was green.

Any help in this area would be awesome. What I'm trying to do is change the highlight color to a soft grey that will be a match to any theme I create and put on my phone.

inside framework-res.apk go to \res\drawable-hdpi\
your probably gonna wanna edit these two files
menuitem_background_pressed.9 and menuitem_background_focus.9
just open in photoshop or gimp and use the hue/saturation to change it to grey or whatever
