As many ROMS as I have flashed over the past year I just flashed for the first time a theme (Watermark'd) over Bo's .596 deodex and I think it's great. I was able to tie in Bo's circle batt, crt, 270 rotation on top and I have a great phone setup. My question is this. If I was to flash a ROM like APEX or Darkslide and then flash a theme ported for that ROM would I get the complete theme look plus the performance and efficency of the ROM. Basically I would get the look of say Watermark'd and the brilliance of the ROM?
 
Yep, the theme will just change the way the ROM looks. You will still be running that ROM you originally had.
