Help There is a mark on my screen

Ok so I have had my Nexus for about a week, and from when I got the phone I put on the otterbox defender case. I was cleaning the phone today because I keep it in my pocket and all kinds of junk gets under the screen protector. Well I notice a mark on the screen and tried to get it off with a microfiber cloth. That was a no go, so I got the Iklear kit and used all that and still nothing. If this is a scratch on the screen what good is the defender case? I have contacted Amazon where I got the phone and we will see what they say, but I wanted to know if you guys has some ideas of something to get it off or see if it was a scratch?

Sorry to hear that... I think there are some screen protectors that are supposed to 'fill in' scratches, so if you cant get a replacement and the scratch is bad enough, that might help.

Maybe a 'regular' screen protector is warranted for use in addition to the otterbox case... it's good to know though, that the otterbox doesn't prevent things from getting under its screen protector... I wonder if others have had this issue...

I was wanting to know the same thing. If people are having this problem I would like to know. I called otterbox and they said there was nothing they would do. They said that there had to be something on the phone before I put the case on it for it to scratch. What they fail to say is there is not protection where the speaker is at the top on the phone and the plastic does not meet the phone, so dust and things can get behind there. Which would make it their fault. I don't know I am just not very happy. The phone is only a week old.
