Help There is a problem with the latest Swype

I installed it without a hitch and began using it a few days ago when my leaked version expired. Today I noticed when I was texting it would not swipe, just press type. I switched keyboards to stock and switched back on my next message and it was working again. This never happened with the leaked versions I had in the past. Not sure what this is all about but just wanted to give a heads up here.

Yea I been experiencing this problem for a good while now. It'll swype one minute then the next it will stop and I have to switch to android keyboard then back to swype

Yep. It's been happening to me for awhile now although it's happening less frequently with the latest update. It used to do it almost everyday, now it's only done it 2-3 times since I installed the current version.

yup every time I turn my phone off or reboot I have to reset the input method. Its always been like this for me.

Same here...only happens when I bump charge my phone or turn it off for some reason. Happened the last two betas

If you see the Swype keyboard, but it will only tap, long press the input text field and select Input Method, Swype. That should reset Swype keyboard. ​
