Help These damn 10% battery increments

i was originally going to say wow i made 2 calls and 1 text and im down to 90% on my battery. after starting this post i had forgotten this damn phone has the 10% increments..

so i guess my new question is: is there ever or even a chance of a possibility that they could/would release a fix for this in an update?

also, is there or could we make a petition or something to get this fixed? lol

lol i know if a petition were to be made for something as small as an increment meter, there would be tons more made for other problems ppl might have.. but its an idea ;)

I used Go Launcher for a while that had a widget that showed the exact battery power left.

Problem was for me that Go Launcher caused quite a few crashing and other problems, so I removed it, and haven't had those problems since. I did love a lot of the options it gave me though. Oh well.

yeah im not exactly lovin the mixed reviews on those.. im hearing oh use open home or go launcher they're great if u dont like motoblur etc etc.. then i hear stuff like they always crash and stuff.. makes me not even want to bother and leave my phone as is..

ah, this is why i hate reading comments/reviews. u always get both.

so anyways, i was reading that the percentages were off, it drains too much battery, etc

i also read it doesnt for atrix after 1.83 from 1 person and another person said it does. lol

so i ask, because im REALLY not a fan of downloading and installing something (even on the computer) and then 2 mins later deleting/uninstalling it cuz i dont like it, does anyone on here have this app? and if so does it really drain a ton of battery?

with the battery issues right now im also one of the ppl trying to conserve battery, and not have apps and widgets running up the ass.. i mean wazoo. ;)

Well I figure any app/widget that uses resources for keeping track of battery life will no doubt drain your battery. As far as significantly draining it I can't really say... I use it but I don't notice my battery life being terrible. Every phone is different though... but I recommend it for peace of mind at least. I can't deal with 10% intervals.

You've probably noticed already but once you get down to 15% it changes to 5% intervals but who has the patience to get down that low.

Since I began using Circle Battery widget, I haven't noticed any battery drain issues. I've been using it for about 4 days now.

You can go into the battery manager in the setings menu and see what apps are taking the most battery. Circle does not even show up on my phone, so its usage is negligible. As for the accuracy, its seems accurate to me. Not sure the people who write feedback reviews know what they are talking about.

This is not an app that I would worry in the least bit about putting on my phone.

I've been using circle battery widget for 3+ weeks and can honestly say that I haven't seen any battery drain because of it. As someone said earlier in this thread, you can go into settings and see what apps are consuming the most battery. When I check it doesn't even show in the list, so I doubt it causes any heavy battery drain.

Is there another app besides circle battery widget that does this? Not to fond of how it looks and it doesn't match the "theme" of my phone! Haha im a little ocd if you can't tell :p

"Battery Circle" by Adrian Ulrich places a 1% Battery meter on the Notification Bar so it's always in view and you don't need to take any space on the Home Page.

I am still checking if it's the cause of a "Unplug Your Charge from the Outlet " msg to hang when you turn the phone on after it's reached 100%.

hey thanks for that! i've always wondered by circle battery wouldnt give you an option to add it to the notification bar.. well this takes care of it.. no customization but its still better than nothing!
