Root TheUltimateDroid 2.0.0 !

Have you tried Chevy's 1.1 LV as compared to the ULV? I use the LV (haven't flashed with this ROM yet) and have never had a problem with it (knock on wood).

Kratos

trying it right now, good suggestion.

EDIT: version 2 (interactive scaling) 1.1 LV bootloops as well. all of the ULV version 3s (1.0, 1.1 and 1.2) work for me, but not having the interactive scaling as an option is a deal breaker.

WOW! You weren't kidding about the first boot. It's been about 3 minutes now and it is still on the UD boot screen. It keeps flashing the UD image, but hasn't fully booted yet.

I think I'll give it a couple more minutes and if it still hasn't booted, I'll revert to my nandroid and try again later.

Interesting. After flashing the ROM, it booted only slightly longer than normal, but I wouldn't say 3 minutes.

I also didn't wipe data/cache, and everything seems to have gone smoothly.

Okay so far it installed easily as usual. I did NOT experience any lag at boot, it booted quite fast.

The bug I have is there are 2 google search widgets, not sure why... one of them if you load it will not move or you cant get off, I had to reload LauncherPro.
When opening up the Market for the first time I noticed that ALL my apps were saying downloading but doing nothing.. just sitting there with scrolling bars not downloading, I had to cancel EVERY one then redownload them one by one.

I like the changes in the call screen, the contacts now scroll faster, I like the notification power widgets...

I will report more after a few hours.

EDIT: Im not really a fan of the bouncback, its kinda annoying.

The market takes forever to restore your apps. They will say "starting download" or "downloading". I have 103 +/- apps and it took about 1.5 hours to restore all of them automatically.

Incoming call screen has a gross bug, when you get an incoming call it has text over the picture of that person calling, and I am not sure if I like the size of it, its WAY up top with very small text. I do like the slide to answer look and changes.
Also while on a call if you hit speaker it turns the speaker on but there is no indicator that its on, the icon needs to stay blue or whatever color...

well you didn't have to redo each and every one. If you redo one then the others will start too. Happens to me all the time.

this is how amazing UD 2 is on my phone.

Is this just a skinned version of CyanogenMod? changelogs seem similar, will this offer battery/performance benefits?

I LOVE being able to adjust the deskclock screen saver color - that was a great addition and the royal blue will look great bedside! - but BlackDroid has apparently removed the option to disable the volume button music control, making the volume rocker a permanent skip feature. I bend and sit a lot, which means I'm ALWAYS skipping songs back and forth. Hopefully he'll add that back. Otherwise a solid ROM, a few bugs here and there but nonetheless ROCKIN' on my phone! :D

Thus far I have not run into any bugs that make this ROM unusable. In fact, installing themed apps and different keyboards actually works now.

I am happy.

Been running/tweaking this ROM since 2pm. Love the battery life I'm seeing already, and the performance. These UD ROMs are definitely the best for my DROID.

Been with UD as of 1.0 (LFY before that) - I am loving this update. Installed over 1.0 with no wipe. Reboot was not long at all and after adjusting fonts, loving it so far. Changing the notification LED is new to me and it's great to see at a glance what the 'ping' was.

Getting ready to try this ROM, my first experience with UD. I was getting almost 1750 quad with BB 0.5, hopefully this won't be any slower.

Are there any issues with installing a theme after a few days of use? I themed my BB immediately, so I don't know what I'll have to clear, etc.

Well I have hit a snag that I can't overcome... anytime I try to place a call (bluetooth, speaker or normal) the call connects and then it just goes DEAD. Nothing. No audio in or out. I wiped coming from UD1 and the problem persists. Any ideas? I may have to revert... :(

I can't speak for anyone else but I have not had this problem at all..

I was wondering if anyone had an updated guide or could point me in the direction to properly adjust the automatic brightness under the UD settings. I know this is from cyanogenmod but I can't understand what any of these settings are really since they are a little more technical

Have you tried a *228 PRL update yet?

I have been making and receiving calls since I flashed without problem (well aside from the text overlap).
