They've got to be kidding... The Mark of the Beast???

It's still pretty creepy to me, even from a non-religious standpoint. Our governments have not proved that they are capable of respecting our privacy.

Last time I saw anything this stupid, it was when RFID proponents in Silicon Valley were implanting chips in their forearms and using them for employee badges.

Because that would sure prove how advanced a people they were.

Dead tie for stupidest thing I've ever seen from the tech industry.

This type of microphone? Almost like the barcode people used to get tattoed.

Definitely a stupid idea, and kinda creepy. I'll stick to holding the phone up to my ear or using a normal headset thanks...

Two quick comments on this:

1. Just because it's patented doesn't mean that it will ever be manufactured. A lot companies sit on patents like this.

2. The way the details read, it's more like a temporary tatoo that is removable. I think it mentioned that it had a finite battery life and could not be recharged. So, this isn't something that you have a permanant thing for.

So, is this the mark of the beast... Not likely. Is it scary, slightly, but not as scary as it's being made out to be... Do I want one, no.

Lmao olbriar!

The noise that the idea created in my head prevented me from having full reading comprehension engaged.

In that case, in the words of the French guard - we already got one you see!

Plus that also comes with a speaker. :D

Edit - although - they could always come up with a second tattoo for your ear.

You could wear three and have stereo.

Four - one for the back of your neck to let you know if you're being scanned in a checkout line.

If anyone's watched Futurama, they might remember when Fry first comes across this :P
