Thieves in the school system

My wife teaches high school. My daughter is a wonderful young lady. This week at school my daughter placed her brand new htc droid in my wifes desk drawer. Since it is a violation for students to have there cell phones in class. Some student entered my wifes desk and took my daughters htc droid. The school was no help, the police was no help. Can anyone tell me if we can track this phone using gps?

Yes, but I doubt that Verizon will give you this information. The nice thing about CDMA, versus GSM however, is that once you report it stolen to Verizon, they will blacklist the ESN on their network, making the phone virtually useless to the thief.

Ah, that sucks. I'm assuming Mobile Defense wasn't installed either. Dang. Probably just GPS I guess.

I know I'm leaving my Mobile Defense installed now.
