Things your OE could do that your OV wouldn't try!!

The OV or Optimus V, an amazing phone for development, brought very far from where it was. It could, with the help of rooting and Downloading apps from a secondary source, run games like Temple Run with slight lag and graphical screw ups.

But NOW we hold, the mighty Optimus Elite or as I have called it above OE.

The Optimus Elite is also an amazing phone with some obvious downfalls.

While your OV had problems running Temple run, Your OE doesn't. While you never tried to run Shadow Gun on your OV, your OE can. As well as many other games I have tested due to seeing them on "Top 10 best android games" websites and videos such as Dead Space and all without the lag.

The OV could have flash player, but you had to download it from a non-official source that was only updated if they tried it and it ran. If my memory serves me correctly (and it's known not to) then the flash player for OV was a version back and didn't run too well especially when compared to the OE.

I've run the Poorly written flash game Evony directly off of my device with little to no lag, other then the fact that my internet is shot.

Once rooted, because I believe it will, the OE may be one of the best phones out from the Virgin mobile line of phones until the Evo 3D/4G.

Anyway, As you see the Optimus Elite is an obvious competitor to the Optimus V even with the Dismal battery life, and I only plan to check it's limits once it is rooted, and I would personally enjoy having the Optimus Elite Stock over the Optimus V rooted.

I can say I'm glad I got rid of my triumph for this. I had the OV (First VM phone.) then Wildfire S (Sucked.) Then 2 triumphs. Now this. Sure it has a slightly smaller screen. But really...its not that bad. Well satisfied person here.

Update : after a few hours with this device, I am in love. The slightly smaller screen is taking some getting used to...but that's a learning curve. Same with the home key placement. All in all, very satisfied. Never used front facing camera on triumph, so that's not missed. This camera seems better, and disabling nfc seems to help battery life.

My OV started developing a problem last week where the other caller could not hear me (but I can hear him perfectly). So I quickly went out and bought an OE. Since then I have rebooted my OV a few times and the problem seems to have disappeared. My plan was to return the OE... but after playing with it for a day I am falling in love with it :p The speed, the extra memory, the larger screen size, the led, flashing buttons for notifications... wow. I didn't realize I had totally stopped trying out new apps on my OV due to the lack of memory, and how much I was missing out as a result... Battery life seems on a par with the OV so far. All for about $115 thanks to Google Wallet. What an awesome deal since it was the last day to keep my grandfathered plan with the OE! :D

I think the same. I was trying to push it to the limits the only game I've had trouble running is GTA 3 and I believe that it's not because it can't run it. But probably a small problem or something.

i miss my ov, im having many problems with the elite, the battery life sucks and im doing everything possible to optimize battery life, my phone answers itself, freezes,reboots...ect.
