Think Amazon Will Cause Problems?

The Nexus 7 is definitely gunning for Amazon's Fire and from what I can tell so far, they've kicked its ass.

I wonder if Amazon is going to play games with users of the N7 tablet. They could always list their apps on Play as incompatible with the N7 and screw over us as users.

I generally read book converted to epub but it would be convenient to have the Kindle app installed. Nook too (B&N, I know). What about Amazon's App Store? It's not in their best interests to give away apps to a competitors device?

I wonder if they're going to pull shenanigans on us. Just a thought.

Not likely. If they stand to make money from N7 users, then why give it up? It's like how Samsung still makes components for apples devices even though they are suing each other left and right. There's still money to be made

Amazon doesn't care. They're trying to sell content, not devices. They're selling the Fire to sell content, not because they make profit on it.
