as mentioned been out of the game for a while

htc evo 4g lte with meanrom

s-on hboot at 1.15

google now stopped working and i would gladly pay someone to s-off and update the phone to jellybean

was using moonshine off and it seemed to work great BUT the phone gets hung up and does not book past the HTC evo white screen

then it says i need a custom recovery but i don't one i think

I don't think you need to pay someone to do this for you. :)

With your hboot # you should follow just the DirtyRacun method of this guide:

Make a LiveCD of Ubuntu, there are instructions in the guide to do this, and do it from Ubuntu. It really isn't all that bad once you get going. :)

We're here as well if you get stuck. :)
 
never mind figured out how to get into the recovery and am re-installing meanrom hopefully this work

nope not booting up... keeps trying and loops

recovered and restored to last year BUT it works so that's great but wifi doesnt work

Thanks but if someone knows better than me i'd gladly pay them i was messing with moonshine to unlock and now my phone wont boot up

i can get into twrp recovery but that's it - i'm trying to restore it now
 
so i just merged you two threads together....no need for two threads talking about something similar.

and no need to pay someone. if you need personal help, you can always pm me;)

sorry i must have missed this, what is your hboot and radio? you can't flash meanbean unless you are current with your firmware. if you are on an older firmware then you need to check this guide out:http://androidforums.com/evo-4g-lte-all-things-root/689274-guide-evo-4g-lte-firmware-guide.html to update your firmware.

its is way you can't flash anything current.

now if you get s-off it will make things easier.
