Think we will get Jelly Bean?

Nope, we are having issues with ics aosp, let alone getting started on Jelly Bean. I doubt we see an official jelly bean release. Maybe an unofficial release of it, but highly unlikely atm.

I think I'm going to get serious about making sure its ported over to our device,as in I'm going to learn how even if I have to learn how to make the kernel as well.

It's not buggy you just got a bad phone like you were told in your other thread, You should have taken it back the first time you caught it happening.

ICS is stable as can be for me on my evo design ( boost ) i have 0 complaints.

Well this is my 2nd Evo with ICS, and they both seem to restart every now and then whenever I exit an app. I blame the combination of RAM heavy sense and ICS, but who knows.

Doesnt the boost phone come with Ice cream sandwich already? How hard would it be for the community to bring jellybean to it?

Well, here's a super awesome custom ROM that me and others are using. Works for Boost and Sprint, not sure about US Cellular.

NOTE: If you are using Boost, make a backup of "Dialer Storage" in Titanium Backup and restore it after flashing this ROM in order to have working MMS.

I painstakingly read that whole forum and I don't believe that I would risk the inconvenience of flashing that rom. I'm looking for cm9 that's stable, at least until the bean drops for real.

You will never see a stable version of CM9 for this phone. reason being it is easier for developers to develop CM10 for this phone (2fast88 is currently working on CM10, there is no ETA for a stable release however there is currently a thread with a decent working cm10 in the rooted section)
