Root Thinking about installing a custom ROM

I have upgraded myself to a Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, so I am thinking about pushing a custom ROM onto the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 (P-3113).

I am thinking about trying out Cyanogen Mod, since that is a popular one, but I don't know what the differences are between say 10.1.3 (latest stable) and 12 (stable enough?).

I'm using Slim ROM 5.0 on my Tab 2 7". Here's the link to the thread over on XDA Forums:

It's pretty good; smooth, and a nice eveyday driver. Especially since it's just a Wi-Fi device. I highly suggest starting from scratch with it, meaning do a full wipe of cache, dalvik cache, system and data. Also make sure you have the correct GAPs; there is a link in the thread for that.
