Thinking of getting an Evo V.

Since it is at the $150 special through Monday, I was thinking of getting this to upgrade my current Triumph. I know it's only $150 but I have a hard time spending money on myself (I've already ordered the Evo V for my gf who was using the Optimus V) and I just want to make sure that it is as good of a phone that most say it is.

Oh, and if anyone could recommend a nice, clean & simple rom for the Evo V I would appreciate it.

has anyone installed the AOKP (ics or jb) rom on this phone yet?

is there any reason that it can't be done?

Go for it, its a great phone, I love my evo even more since I got the radio frequency update.

Just went and picked up the Evo V from Target. They priced matched me at the $149.99 price and I got a discount from my gf so it ended up costing just $135. Very happy with the price, now I have to start roaming through all the mods
