Thinking of Rooting my Eris

Hey all, long time lurker here!

Thinking of rooting My Eris,

The major thing I want to do is try to speed up my Eris, especially the Dialer.
I am quite fond of HTC Sense, So I want to keep all of that if possible.

Any suggestions on good roms? Is SetCPU all I need to overclock? and wont that kill the battery even worse?

I saw the guides on how to, which is do-able for me, but I wanna get your opinions on it first.

If your looking to keep Sense and overclock, I'd say Evil Eris 3.0 is a good choice for you. And yes SetCPU should be all you need to overclock and as long as you adjust your settings correctly, the battery should be fine.

Evil Eris will fix alot of issues for you.....same Sense layout, just more stable and a better battery life, at least for me. Overclock for sure and in no time, you've got a totally different phone!
