Thinking of rooting.

I'm thinking about rooting my S2.

I just need a easy to follow guide, thinking of CF's and what I will need any tips will be appreciated.

Also I'd like to know if the you can get rid of the yellow triangle or does a certain root method remove it?

Plus what root apps should I install? Like an overclocker etcetera

First time rooting anything I'd liek to get the most out of my s2 and not brick it :(

Couple of tips...
,
"Flash in haste... repent at leisure". In other words, make sure you read and understand everything first and then have all the relevant items to hand and downloaded before embarking on step 1 in post #2.

Root your girlfriend's phone first. That way, if you muck it up for whatever reason, you still have your phone and all you've lost is a girlfriend! :D

on step 2 now looking at everything checking it twice
