Thinking of upgrading, first some questions

I currently have a HTC Thunderbolt and its ok but has too many bugs and isn't dual core. I have an upgrade and am thinking of using it on the Bionic or saving it for the Prime. I was wondering what yalls first impressions are. Any major bugs, how fast is it really(maybe a quadrant score)? Is there root and is the bootloader unlocked? I might add more questions if I can think of any. Thanks.
