Thinking of upgrading

Joedub

Lurker
Well I currently have a Droid X and was thinking of upgrading to the Droid 3. The features that interest me are the dual core processor and the physical keyboard. Two things that worry me are the 512MB or RAM and the screen.

My questions are is this device noticeably faster then the Droid X? Is the screen as bad as people are saying? blurry? how does it stack up to the Droid X screen?

If I am going to upgrade my device I want it to be an upgrade.

I had the droid X, and upgraded to the X2.......hated the x2 with a passion.....
My impressions of the Droid3(which I currently now have) are:
Love the keyboard...which I am forgetting to use sometimes..but love it for doing my banking or longer emails when i want to spell correctly...ha
The screen to me is not blurry at all, and I have the screen cover on for anti glare....NO, it is not as big as the DroidX, but it is perfect for me.
I dont understand what all the comments about the pixels are, because maybe I am blind, but am not seeing that.
It is super fast, scrolls very smoothly...pages open fast and precise each and every time
For me, I did not like the X2 at all....yes, the screen was bigger, and yes it does not have the same screen as the Charge, but guess what????
The phone just works...
Just training my battery, and making sure my settings are all tweeked, and I will be good to go.

Best of luck with your choice..and BTW...I don't have 4G coverage in my area, so that was not an issue either for me.

TK:)

Yeah there is no 4g where I am either and they don't show any plans for next year even though I know Verizon has run a bunch of fiber in my area for it.

I also had the X2 and hated it. Just switched to the D3 and I love it. The display is great, anyone who says otherwise either has 20/15 vision & is a snob about their screen, or got a defective unit.
