Accessories Thinnest case available?

<snip>
I finally ordered the smoke argyle case and am glad to see others like it. Should have it tomorrow.

Cool, please do let us know how you would compare the argyle with the Rocketfish. Especially when it comes to bulkiness as I'd like some protection but not at the expense of adding too much bulkiness.

Where can I find a good thin extended battery that will work with the rocketfish case? Also where can I find a holster that will hold my phone with the case?

rocking the silicon one from Verizon, and from what I have seen from others, its one of the thinnest out there. There is the issue with the silicon not sliding, as in coming out of your pocket, or on a desk, but I like that fact.

The rocketfish case is the same as the "rubberized" hard plastic snap on covers you can get all over ebay for $5 with free shipping. I have a couple of them, including a red metallic one, and they are a very, very slim fit. They add almost no bulk, and they are so cheap you can buy a few colors and when they wear out you can toss 'em and not feel bad. I would be a little worried about a significant drop in this think little plastic shell, however...

Because you have to have a $25 order to get free shipping on amazon...unless the vendor is offering it on their own and some vendors don't offer it at all through amazon.

i just got my cheapo in from amazon this weekend. it was like 2.45 before shipping and 5 something afterwards. it fits really well on the phone and seems to do the same thing those thirty dollar cases do.

Just ordered 1 at Amazon. What a Deal!

Items: $1.23
Shipping & Handling: $2.98

Total Before Tax: $4.21
Estimated Tax:* $0.00

Order Total: $4.21
Why didn't I qualify for FREE Super Saver Shipping?

Hey can you let me know how that is? I need to get a case for my X.

Also, let me know if this fits with the extended battery please.

Thanks.

i cant find the exact link anymore. the closest thing i could find is the one that someone posted earlier in this forum. mine has the two smaller holes for the speaker and the mic though not the one big hole for both. my receipt said it was sent by weistrade

Ok thanks anyway. I'm beginning to lean towards just getting a leather case for it and nothing on the phone itself. Hmmm...

to each their own man.....i just dont like to add a whole lot of bulk to my phone. if you are going more for appearance though i would say a leather case would do the trick better than the one i purchased

Could you post some pictures? The sample pictures on their website are horrible. Maybe a shot of the case and naked Droid X side by side so that we have an idea of how much bulk the case adds (if taking it out of the case isn't too much trouble).

I can't get pics on right now but it is very similar to the Amzer silicone case but it seems to fit much better. I own both and I like the Epik Resin one better. Adds very little bulk if any. Use to have these on my BB's and loved them. I would definitely recommend getting one. You will love it!:D

Very easy to use camera, power/lock and volume buttons as with the Amzer they are a little harder to push. Seems almost as if threre isn't even a cover over the buttons.

Is this a pretty rigid case. I hate the silicone, but this Epic seems to be a cross between rubber/silicone and hard plastic. Does it have the grip of a silicone with the rigidity of plastic?...maybe I'm way off. Could you give us a good description please?

I've got that plastic 2 piece jobby on my X right now and in my opinion is just kinda...Meh. Debating on trying this Epic or maybe the verizon combo holster so I can just get the once piece back guard.

Yes it is rigid. It is not the flimsy type silicone cases that are out on the market. It is flexible but it is not flimsy at all(a mixture between hard plastic and silicone). This is the best (fitting wise) case I have come across and it isn't a struggle to use the buttons either like some of the others. If you are on the fence about buying one, do it. You won't be disappointed.
