Help This camera sucks, anyone having luck with a better camera app

Feeling too lazy to read the thread, having a bad night, so, sorry if someone mentioned it, I prefer "pro capture" I liked it enough to buy the paid version.

I think "we" have to remember that it's a cell phone camera and not a true camera. I've just started using the Razr HD coming from a Droid 3 and if I'm not paying attention to what I'm taking a picture of they are crappy but it's alot quicker than the Droid 3 was. So many times I thought I had the shot and it hadn't taken the picture yet.

Today out my office window on the fly. Not bad for my phone.

Yep, lousy camera. Just look at this shot. (which has been reduced in physical size as well as compressed to reduce file size.)

Yes most cameras take great pictures in good lighting, and the problem with the camera is indoors and low lighting, the camera is constantly searching for the correct settings. I never had this problem with my Galaxy Nexus.

the biggest issue I have is the auto focus and the freakin LAG!!!! When I press the capture button, it shouldn't take 5-6 seconds to snap. I'm not exactly talking low light - middle of the day, indoors, but all the blinds open and as much light as I can get.

the samsung gs3 camera snaps in about 1 second and doesn't seem to have auto focus problems. my previous droid razr didn't have the same lag. this is crap.

Yes, like most phones the Maxx HD has problems with low light. Just look at the reviews of the Galaxy S4 camera.

I posted this photo because it came out unusually well. I think the early morning angle of the sunlight hitting the ice crystals made the photo "pop".
