If I dont like a product, I dont spend every waking moment obsessing over it and looking for and then posting every bit of information I can find on it. Logical people avoid products they dont like. Do you REALLY have nothing better to do with your time? :rolleyes:

Perhaps some of us like to stay informed, instead of instantly praising all that is crApple, and if you read engadget, or any other media tech blog/outlet, you can't help but to come across the crap apple puts out calls "revolutionary". So it's NOT actively seeking things out, people just come across it, and post it.
 
"Logical people" (you) avoid products (HP Slate) they don't like. Yet... you made a thread dedicated on bashing HP Slate.

If you find that most people's post regarding apple objectionable, I would suggest going to an apple forum. This is an android forum, and you should have expected the reaction of a lot of people here regarding the apple brand. We would get the same reaction if we started basking in the glory of android in an apple forum.

If you want to learn more about android, that's fine, but I would suggest being more diplomatic when trying to compare apple and android. Clearly, people here know what they like, and apple fans know what they like. You would find that you'll find more people agreeing more with you when you go to an apple forum. Let's just leave it at that.
 
I used macs all through college. We even have some at the job here. I have no problems with Apple. I think the company hamstrings itself, but I could care less one way or the other.

I think the uproar over the iPad was more disappointment than anything. Sort of like that Nokia gaming phone they made a while ago (the on that looked like a taco, I can't even remember what it was called anymore... oh yeah, the NGage...) They even fixed it, but the community was so disappointed that they didn't even give the sequel a chance (it probably didn't help that they talked a lot of smack about Nintendo.)

HA! a taco. My friend had one of those. I admit, I had some NGage envy. This was in the palm days though.
 
Theres not enough Apple bashing in this thread....let me add some.

I'm gettin a kick out of the latest garbage I'm seeing out of iFools. They are now trying to call the new task manager anything but a task manager since Jobs said you blew it if you have one. One cat went as far as to say its not a task manager since the apps are actually suspended. Just thought I'd ad my bashing for the day...
