If they're meant to be "idiot-proof" how did they not know how to use it in the first place?
Nightmare! It still shocks me how scared people are of technology in this day and age, I mean, computers are simpler than ever and I'm sure the only thinking stopping people from learning to use them is the perception that it's too complicated for them... plus the fact that nobody ever reads the instruction bookletIt truly speaks of the level of stupidity that have to deal with, doesn't it?

"Ok, which one is the any key"
People work very hard to make things more and more idiot proof. Meanwhile the Universe just makes bigger and better idiots.
Don't remember the whole quote off the top of my head, but it is so incredibly true. It is almost like people use technology as an excuse to quit using their brain. I can't say I'm immune to that though. I could tell you about 30 different people's phone numbers off the top of my head when I was a kid. Now, thanks to speed dial and address books I don't even know my parents phone number anymore and I talk to my mom at least 3 times a week. Sad isn't it?
I used to do computer training classes at a previous job and I actually had someone ask me that once when the prompt came up. He was dead serious too.
Yeah, I've heard it before somewhere...People work very hard to make things more and more idiot proof. Meanwhile the Universe just makes bigger and better idiots.

Well, I suppose it lets you occupy your mind with other things... just looking for bright sides thereIt is almost like people use technology as an excuse to quit using their brain.
