This or the droid razr?

Yea; but which is more power efficient ? At these speeds I mostly care about battery life.
I'll try. From what I can gather:

They are about the same generation...

The OMAP 4430 in the Razr is the one thats behind, the 4460 in the Nexus is better. The Snapdragon S3 in the Rezound is "older" in that it utilizes Cortex A8 tech, whereas the OMAPs are A9. However, the S3 is a custom chip that behaves nothing like normal A8 processors. I think at equal clock speeds the 4460 and S3 are about a wash (maybe the tiniest, undetectable edge to the OMAP).

However, the GPU that is on the Snapdragon 8660 S3 (in the Rezound) is the Adreno 220. This, from what I've read, is significantly better than the Power VR SGX540 in the Razr and Nexus...

As I mentioned before, I have the S4s which I agree I love, but one question I have for you, do you notice the sound of the cord rubbing on your clothes carries through to the earphone and actually seems to distort the music a bit? I found that kind of odd since at first I thought the distortion was within my music file itself. /thread jack

I'll bite on the /thread jack...

What you're hearing is called microphonics. Unfortunately, I don't know of any in ear headphones that do not suffer (even if in a small amount) from this issue.

There are some manufacturers that reduce the effect by using different materials on the cords.

Looping the cord around your ear, clipping the cord to your clothes or using the cable cinch to secure the cables to the back of your head all help.

A manufacturer called Westone, which makes hearing products as well as in ear monitors, use a braided style cord that reduces microphonics a great deal.

One of the reviews I read on mine (the S2's, the S4's lil bro) said they used a fairly stiff (feels somewhat like a flexible plastic) material for the cords that contributed to this. If they would've used a material more like say the ipod's earphone cables (kinda feels like an eraser), there would've been less issues with that.

My S4s are worse than the 10 year old Sonys that they replaced at magnifying the noise from the cord. I am curious to see how they stack up with the Beats headphones. I think I'll use the Beats on my MP3 player to get an unbiased test of them. I'm sure if the Beats prompts the phone to use some special eq setting then it's only a matter of me getting the EQ setting correct. Oh and anyone interested in the S4s, they're $46.00 here Klipsch Image S4 Earphone Stereo black - Electronics Headphones & Earbuds I've never purchased from that retailer though.

I've read some reviews on Amazon that the iBeats have terrible build quality. Some users have complained that out of nowhere one side just shorted out.

If I do end up with the Rezound, I'll probably end up keeping them since I tend to be a headphone hoarder. I've a big bottom desk drawer full of them LOL.

I'm a bit of an open air headphones kind of guy. Big fan of the Koss Portapros, Sennheiser px100s and Grado SR60i/80i.

My apologizes to the OP for being off topic I couldn't help myself.

The Razr had a locked bootloader, so it's a no-brainer: get the Rezound! If you don't root or flash ROMs, I'd probably still go with the Rezound. The Razr is having the same issues as the Bionic (data connection issues, freezes, etc.).

Now all we need is some hot blonde to break up the monotony of all this techno-speak...

Which reminds me, if all those guys were really techno geeks, why do they all appear to own iPhones?

Just to comment. This is the cast of Big Bang Theory and the incredibly hot blonde is Kaley Cuoco who plays Penny. The rest are just extras lol :P
