this phone is a game changer for 55 bucks a month

if this phone was available about 6 months ago I would have got it. I had a prevail but flashed a htc evo (for speed and 4.3" screen) to make work with boost, the prevail is a joke of a phone and shouldn't even be considered a legit device. I was fortunate enough to get on the 50 a month plan before they raised the price.

I'm surprised they are offering this phone because the 1ghz pocessor and 4.3 inch screen are true huge benefits and enough reason for post pay customers to go pre-pay. A savings of 35 to 40 percent for monthly phone bill is huge considering how people are so used to paying 80 to 90 bucks a month for cell phone service.

My boost service is actually a lot better than friends who have verizon or att so to me this is a really good deal.

Ya even at $55 a month it's good deal. Cricket changed the landscape with their service - formerly none of the big players had reasonable pre-pay plans. But now Boost is giving Cricket a run for its money.

I formerly paid $45 a month at Cricket for unlimited calling, txt, and Internet. But, that didn't include all Internet. Cricket forces their users through a proxy and filters out most ports. So I had to put a proxy router on my phone just to listen to audio streams etc.

Glad to switch to Boost and pay $10 more a month. Service in my area is better, and I have full Internet access. Geez I can even SSH into my Internet servers from my phone ;-) Nice. Not that I want, but good to know that I can.

And for what it's worth: In my experience so far, Android totally blows away Windows Mobile. It's relief to get rid of MS on my phone, kicked them off my PCs 4 years ago.
