Which is the best phone out of both of these, the Samsung Galaxy Victory or Samsung Galaxy S2? Which has the better specs?

If you're going just by specs the s2 is better in terms of hardware when you count the camera, screen size, and that's about it.

Personally I'd recommend the Victory of course. It has the newer 4g lte and for the difference in price I don't think the specs on the s2 justify the $60 gap or whatever it is now.

Here are the specs for the Samsung Galaxy Victory 4G LTE. And these are for the CDMA variant of the Samsung Galaxy S2. Pricing is about the same for each device now that the S2 is a couple of years old but the Victory has that 4G LTE connectivity for blazing fast internet connectivity if LTE is active in your area. The S2 has more internal memory but both devices sport a microSD card slot to add up to 32GB more space. The S2 has a higher resolution camera than the Victory. The display resolution on the S2 is higher which is important if you plan on watching a lot of videos. Both have a removable battery. It's a tough call but ultimately it's up to you Uriel707.

I know that the victory has the latest jb firmware & the s2 still on ics also what I really want is something that captures good photos (full screen) not half like the victory & a phone that has good performance would that be the s2?

I'm biased actually being a s2 owner but I have to say yes the S2 takes good photos. I don't have any Victory experience to compare it to though. You can get the official Jellybean upgrade 4.1.2 for the S2 from Sprint but you have to manually install it.Sprint has an over the air update to Jellybean for the Galaxy Victory.

The thing is though I haven't really noticed a lot off performance issues being discussed about the Victory. It seems like a very stable device.

What do you mean "half screen" photo's? My photo's on my Victory show up just fine, even viewed on my Nexus 10... At any rate, they both have good cameras, the S2 is just better.

You know when you take photos portrait on iPhone they show fullscreen, when I take them on my victory portrait they show half the screen & when I flip it landscape that's when it's fullscreen

That will happen on any worse screen phone
