This says a lot to me about the Motion (Fleabay)

There's 2, TWO used Motions for sale. Period. (and some loon who wants over $200 for a new one).

Both of those still have time to close and are within $10 of what you can get the dang phone from Wirefly for Brand New and shipped free. I WILL get a GOOD laugh when and if they close for more than Wirefly's $139.

That's a whole lot of "those that have them aren't getting rid of them".

well if you look at the specs of the phone, it is an amazing deal, and the only downside is the 3.5" screen...

so if you're comfy with a small screen then you should get the Motion..it is an awesome machine
 
(As I've mentioned in other posts)

I used a VMobile Optimus a couple years ago for about 3 weeks and I think it has a 3.2" That was my first schmatt fone and I was too stoked at all the neat stuff to worry about a small screen. I think my current DX is a 4.3" and I like that screen fine, BUT, I actually find the phone itself to be bigger than I'd really like. The positives To Me really could outweigh the loss of screen size.

The only other choice I see is the Esteem and I read it's laggy. I had my DX in a wonky (prior software version) state before and it was no fun even with the bigger screen. BTDT, don't wish to revisit.

I'll be putting mine up on ebay once I get the s3. Sold my connect and my itouch which I've been trying to get rid of forever for over $300 total.

Well I hate to disappoint you but I made a search for Coolpad quattro (aka the lame phone) and search came up with 2 phones selling for above the retail price.

I'm not saying that Motion is a bad phone, but I don't think it's that popular. Majority of people (and I don't want to sound like a sexist) do not buy phones by the specs, they just pick the one that looks coolest or (in case of Iphone) most popular one.

I already shared with my fellow esteemers galaxy s3 will be out next month and its going to cost $549 + tax so get ready cuz its coming.
 
Metro never gives out release dates for their phones. Everything we know has come from rumor mills, news leaks, and insiders and they've been on point for the most part.

Was the Quattro SELLING for that price or SOLD for that price? There is a BIG difference.

2 days ago, one of the Only Two used Motions on Ebay sold for $20 More than you can get the phone Brand New for from Wirefly. Ok, yeah, it did have some < $10 case with it.

The other Used Motion is sitting a few cents Higher than the Same Brand New price from Wirefly but with a day + left, it ain't over yet there.

The Motions not popular?

Ok, try this for me.

Find me Just THREE Used Motions in The Entire Country that are listed for And Sell for Less Than the $139 New price from Wirefly. (I'll save you the effort, I've already Googled for Craigslist nationwide and other Googles and couldn't find them.)

Then, when you CAN'T find those three used Motions for sale, pick a phone, ANY (other) phone that you Can't Find 3 of used that are selling/sold for Less than they can be had for new.

I'll be waiting...:p

I'm not saying you are wrong just your data is inaccurate. You can not just make a conclusion from few phones selling on ebay. In order for it to be popular this phone has to be a deficit. Ebay has to be filled with new overpriced devices. What seems to be good is that metropcs stocks are going up.
 
I'd agree with Bruce on this one. Anyone that has bought one (Motion) isn't selling it. They may once the next best thing comes along. I have frequented two of my local Metro PCS stores a couple of times a week since the Motion was released. (Still having vmail indicator issues.) They each get shipments twice a week in alotments of 10's or 12's. There is usually people on a waiting list or hanging out in the store waiting for the days shipment. One of the store managers said she couldn't keep them in stock for more than a day but they were consistently getting shipments in. She had no clue as to what the next "New" phone was or when it would be available.
 
They wont wait that long the phones already here already i doubt they are going to be that long, I was told the beginning of next month.
