those were megaupload links that no longer work, if there is a demand for the Froyo images to come back I will upload them again somewhere
I tried downloading the CWM5 by Chin Checka file and it won't download. Do you know if that link is still correct? I tried again this morning and still nothing.
Also, on the post with the links, it says to hold down the volume, camera, and power buttons at the same time to enable downloading. My phone will not let me hold them all at once. It also says to do that from a powered-off state- how is that possible?
The Chin Checka link seems good to me, are you downloading it to your Windows Based computer?
When you phone is powered off, and you hold camera button, Volume Down and the power button, the phone will go into a special Odin Mode and the screen on you phone will have yellow letters that says downloading
Yes, I'm using a Windows-based computer.
My camera button is not available when it's turned off- it operates from the touchscreen. I don't understand.
there are 4 buttons on the sides of the phone (unless it has been redesigned)
top side has button is Power
left side has vol up and vol down
right side has camera button
Oh my goodness. I am laughing and crying all at the same time. I feel like the biggest idiot. Thank you. I will attempt to proceed.
Now that I've already proven myself to be ignorant about this whole process, what do I do get reconnected to my phone service?

I think the image was taken in airplane mode. (menu> settings> wireless and networks> uncheck airplane mode/ also with phone on, holding power brings up a menu with an 'airplane mode' button)
