Thought - Capacitive buttons...

My .02 - let's say they had used a symbol for the menu button instead of text. You're in the store playing with the phone. You recognize the other three buttons as home, back, and search. You're not sure what the fourth button does. You press it. "Oh, it's the menu button" you think to yourself. Not a mystery anymore :P

Go Jazz :P

I think not... I do believe he was thinking Android... I gave out the most-used standard buttons used in place of the menu key.

My point was more along the lines of which looked right aesthetically with the buttons we already have, which all have a circle around them. Personally I think it would be a poor design choice to use any of the others with the circle. Is the one we got good? Not really. Is it worth talking about? I'm not sure.

First and Foremost, I think its great that such a silly thread I started has been the beginning of deep, intriguing, meaningful debate.

Let me put this back on track since all the hype has finally subsided.

1. This thread (my OP) was NOT a gripe, complaint or bitch session in any way.
2. Worth Talking about? Who knows, it was worth me talking about it, apparently it was worth a few others talking about it too.

Bottom line is this, from a continuity frame of mind, the overall theme of the device as far as hardware goes, the one hiccup is the little tiny "menu" button. I found that interesting, sorry if so many of you think that we can't figure out what a menu button does after hitting it once.
