Same. I got the HOX+ and I was disappointed that they removed USB as storage device. Looks like that did the same for all HOX devices... I wonder why?

From what HTC has been saying, (and neither being able to confirm nor deny it) that's the way all phones work with 4.1 jb.

Its at these times we could do with a separate Sd card rather than all the memory on the phone.

Some AOSP ROMs based on 4.1 (CM10/AOKP) mount as storage, but I wonder if that's because they use the older, 2.6.39 kernel. Proper JB uses the 3.x and up.

Me too! What the go with that??
For some reason I cant get HTC sync to work and now I cant mount the phone as a storage device which means now I cant add music or photo's from my computer and vice versa.

Just plugged my mums new hox into her laptop for the first time.. straight away it gave the option to view files using explorer everytime.. no messing about or anything.. maybe it's the verson of Windows or summat...

It could still be running android 4.0.4
