Data use depends on the user.

The battery life on this device is outstanding. Even heavy users are getting good battery life out of this device, even with the large screen.

I usually can get a days use out of this device with 4 hours + of on screen time.

Is there anything specifically you're looking for in this device?

battery life is out of the world. most Android phones, unlike their Apple competition need daily charges unless you turn off what makes it a smartphone. expect standby times of a tablet, which is what this phone is--around 2-3 days.

my phone is basically my entire internet connection but i did disable Google Sync as Play Music ate through an entire data allowance just sitting in the background, and Play Store despite me setting it otherwise kept updating my apps without permission.

just sitting idle data use ain't much. now, if i watch Netflix, play Call of Duty, then it changes.

this isn't unique to the Note 3. the Note 3 is simply a huge phone that also doubles as a small tablet and includes a super-stylus pen.
