Thread Subscriptions.. how many do you have?

So sometimes I go through and clear out old thread subscriptions, and I just realized, as of right now, I am subscribed to 732 threads. Yikes!

Well make that 733 now... hehe...

How many do you guys have?

damn you beat me at 1508, lol. I find subscribing to a lot of threads come in pretty handy, especially for me to spot spammers. ;)
 
how does subscribing work? does it send them to your email? or is in the form of a pop up when you log in?
 
Any thread with unread replies shows up in your user CP. You can have them emailed to you, but I don't have that turned on.

HA!! 1599 with this post:p:p

And i never clean old ones out, you never know when someone might resurrect a 5 month old thread lost and looking for some direction
 
I only have 7. Most of which were me arguing with someone and I wanted to make sure to see any more posts. I have a thing about getting the last word in so...

You can subscribe to a thread and select that you get no email

Also, everytime you post in a thread, it automatically subscribe you to the thread (no email) but you will see it in the UserCP.

Thanks, i'll have to check that out. I never really go to UserCP unless I'm trying to find an old thread to refrence, or something like that.

I always just subscribe with email so I can immediately see what people are saying about me :D

If they responded to it, it's at the top of that forum. That works for me. If they haven't responded in a few days, the thread is dead. That's how I look at it.

The beauty of it is for a staff, if one of those dead threads get a post, we can respond to it asap if it's a spam *delete* or a lost soul *help*.
 
814. Some threads I dont post in but just read I manually subscribe to. That Speed of Light thread one I'm reading only, its wild...lol News, tutorials may get manually subscribed too.

And I dont do the email notify thing. I found out the hard way about doing that on Engadget...lol My inbox had pages upon pages of notifications from Engadget.
