Help Three Questions About Battery Doctor

Phone is not rooted.

1. So i press the spinney thing on the battery doctor widget and it says "3 apps closed prolonged power by 34 minutes", perhaps with different numbers. How can i determine which apps were closed?
   
2. It appears that Android may be re-starting the same apps? So is power really being prolonged?
   
3. The battery remaining percent displayed on the widget is usually greater then the percent displayed in the app. It seems the app does not update the widget often enough. Is there a way that i can force the app to do the update?

2. - yes android can restart apps which requires energy so instead of saving energy it drains.

3. - maybe in BD settings you can change widget refresh rate

Try Greenify, it could work also without root.

Unless an app is misbehaving force closing apps is usually counter-productive. An app that's dormant in memory isn't using power, but if you return to it it will require less power to restart it than to reload after killing it. And many processes will just restart anyway, in which case you've definitely used rather than saved power.

I'd not trust an app's estimate of power savings. Really just use the app this way for one week, don't use it for another, and see whether you notice a real difference.
