Three questions that I really need help with.

Myicha

Newbie
I got my phone this morning by mail, been on it all day then realized that I don't have the 4G symbol. The only symbols on the bar are wifi-wifi strength battery and time. There's nothing indicating I have 4G. I'm in the 4g area but there's nothing indicating that I have it or have it on.

My second question is; How do I turn off my data and check data usage?

Third question: Is any one else having problems using the Facebook app? I downloaded the app tried logging in but got 'Facebook authentication failed'. I uninstalled the app re-installed it and got the same results. Facebook messenger works fine, but its not what I want/need. I'm able to go through the net and use it but the app doesn't work for me.

Please help me figure this out; I am clueless when it comes to this phone.

When you're connected to Wifi, you won't see the symbol for mobile data. At least this is how it works for me on AT&T, I assume it is the same on T-Mobile. Turn off your wifi and you should then see the symbol you're wanting to see.

To turn off data, I believe you can get an app that will allow you to toggle mobile data on/off. There are also apps to monitor data usage.

The last update to the Facebook app apparently broke it for most people. You'll probably have to settle with using the mobile site on your phone for now.

4G is now working. After reading a lot of complaints about the facebook app i doubt that they'll fix it....

Thanks again.
