Throttling is LIVE!

Looks like Boost Throttling is Live now. My download speed will not go over 200kbps no matter what signal I have no matter what tweak I try. I have access to 3 other Boost phones any their speed are about 600 - 900 kbps. 200 is max but my average Download speed is about 80-100 kbps. My Upload however is NOT throttled my phone will upload about 400-500kbps. Guess I used the iHeartRadio app too much lol.

On a good note my pay cycle starts over in 2 days.

What phone are you being throttled on? I took the whole throttling thing to mean that 4g users had a data limit of 2.5 GB before being throttled to 3g speeds. I hope that they don't start throttling 3g users down to something awful. I already have speeds that are all over the place

I have a Prevail and for about 2 days I have not gotten my 3g over 700kbps
 
I have a feeling that we're gonna see an extra charge in the future, maybe. One that will give us a higher limit til we're throttled. Maybe 5 gigs? Don't know but it would be a great way for Boost to make some extra money and extend our data limit before they throttle it.

Right now I'm not using near the 2g limit because I've got a cable modem but who knows what the future holds. I may need to start tethering again 1 day as my only means of internet via laptop or desktop. If that were to happen 2gigs wouldn't be near enough.

Boost website says 3G to be throttled to 256kbps or LESS. I could top out about 200kbps.
I would hope they get something like Virgin where you could pay to reset your data.
