So mine went away after the last update it ever had, so how do I use it again, I have the password inside right now, maybe a fdr..

go into settings>security>fingerprint>add or delete finger

you will need to enter that password to access your fingerprint settings.

Well I tried it a dozen times, and I see a fingerprint above the pattern and number lock password, still no chance of applying it..

Come to the conclusion, that when you do update the phone to Android 11, you lose it

I finally got it working, it is strange after a quick reboot it just cleared off that small clutter and it appeared quickly.
(With a little help from CCleaner)
