Thunderbolt 2/HTC Vigor anyone???? Hell yeah!!!!!!!!

It looks good, I don't think I will spend the money out of contract in two months to get it if the VZW roadmap is correct
 
OHHHHHH WTH lol. Damn i was planning my phone for next year to SMDH. I guess the vigor is HTC/VZW competition for the iphone 5 since i think the ip5 comes out in the next couple of months.
 
Last I heard it should be out next month, you know they will be getting speech to text abilities with iOS 5.

Android manufacturers have to come out with new phones every 4-6 months to stay in the running against each other, we rarely see a leak that is scheduled more than 6 months out ;)
 
I heard Best Buy is taking pre-orders....

Meh if it's coming this year, i don't care. I can over clock my Thunderbolt to 1.5. Im just more excited about Ice Cream Sandwhich.

I take it you are rooted? If not you may not want to hold your breath, seeing as the stock bolts are still on froyo our 2 year contracts may be up before a stock bolt sees Ice Cream Sandwich :eek: <looks at superuser app>:D

lol, reading stuff like this makes me SO happy that you convinced me rooting was the way to go! I'll stick with overclocking and wait for an ICS ROM for my TB...not gonna be buying anything out of contract...or at least I don't think so lol :)

I don't want to buy another phone out of contract but I will probably end up doing so once once comes out that I can't turn up :D.

I hate admitting this, but I probably will too...I have until Jan '13 before I am eligible for any kind of upgrade, so hopefully quadcore will be around then :) that would be pretty sweet...I have the upmost confidence that the TB will EASILY satisfy me until then...since I rooted, I fell in love with this phone
 
The phone sounds sweet as hell but my rooted Thunderbolt will hopefully sustain me until next summer. By then, quad-cores phones will be just around the corner. :D
 
first thing I need to know is if it will have an encrypted bootloader. If it does I dont care how sweet its suppose to be my replacement will be from another brand isn't encrypted.
 
Yeah, I am probably going to buy my wife a new phone for christmas unsubsidized, just so I can have her upgrade June of next year. I just can't go the 20 months Verizon requires watching the forums as the new phones come out.
 
I am looking at this one but the info we have is very vague.
I am eligible for an upgrade next month... we will see.

I guess we can assume this device will have sense 3+?

The only concern I have at this point is that HTC may be tracking serial numbers of those who choose to unlock their bootloader, and therefore no more quietly returning your phone to factory stock and submitting for warranty.

WTF lol i was wondering when some one would say something about the pic lol. To me the lic has to of the best elements to me 1. a baby making a funny face 2. a quote from AHNULD, side note "who is you daddy and what does he do" LOL

who cares if they track your serial. YOU know what you're doing. YOU know its your fault if YOU screw it up. YOU know it voids warranties. that's why at the beginning of every how-to, there is a warning.

not trying to be a dick, but why would you be worried about this?
