Thunderbolt Ad Attack

We will see this very soon, why would they be launching all these ads on dozens of websites (cnn.com) if the phone was /not/ slated for a release very soon. imo we will see this phone this week. Discuss
 
Well remember HTC presents today at MWC, I would expect that they will have a solid release date annoucnement then. All of the adds suddenly appearing today is a good sign of that IMHO.
 
They are def going to announce the launch info at there MWC presentation today, it would be stupid if they didn't, i thought their presentation was tomorrow though, i must be wrong:P

That is probably why I'm hearing the 3AM time, it could be tomorrow at 3AM EST... /shrug
 
Their facebook page says 16 hours, remember MWC is in barcelona, so the times for us will be different. Barcelona is 6 hours ahead of EST
 
Well? Any news yet? The BB dude called me yesterday (Sunday) to tell me that they didn't get them yet for a release today. He said it would "probably" be pushed back to the 24th like everybody else seems to think. Hopefully, it will be before that though...
 
Verizon will announce the release date. They still have about 30,000 iPhones they can't sell because everyone wants the bolt
 
Htc rep said they are shipping thunderbolts this week, all signs point to a release this thurs-fri or thursday next week, giving 1-2 days for adverts.

they aren't even coming to best buy until the 21st so the earliest you could even possibly get is the 22nd. but you wont until the 24th.;)
 
24th will probably be the release (as I broke ;)) but more than likely if there is no street date best buy will allow you to get it earlier.
