thunderbolt case?

My thunderbolt will be here on monday and I am needing to get a case and screen protector. I want a case that will stay on the phone like a silicone skin or hard shell. I am ruling out a silicone skin because they are a pain to slide in and out of a pant pocket. I had a hard shell for my Hero, but the 3.5 mm headphone jack port was recessed so much that I could not use the jack without taking off the shell. Does anybody have any suggestions for a good case?
I have been eyeing a seidio surface case, but I will also be putting on a screen protector and was thinking of holding out for an otterbox style. If I go the seidio route, does anybody have any suggestions for a scratch resistent screen protector. I have read about zapp protectors but I have also heard that they are sticky and does not feel like the originial glass screen.

Somebody help me!!!

I think you mean zagg. I have that with a seidio innocase and I love the feel of zagg.. It is kind of waxy but feels great.. This is just an opinion. It is very easy to put on to

I love otterbox cases however there are none yet for thunderbolt. I think this is the best alternative until one comes out. Less than twenty bucks with discount.

Honestly I usually hate silicone cases, but the shiny silicone case that VZW puts out for its Android phones is one of my favorites. I've had it for the Incredible, Droid X, Fascinate, and now the TB. Fits very tight like a glove, not a pain to get off by any means, slides in and out of my pocket very easily, looks great and hardly adds any bulk to the phone, and most of all provides great protection if dropped. Me and my Lady got the same cases, and we love em.

It just shipped today, (got the white one) but I'll upload pics once I get it. I usually like an Amzer-type case, which is what I have on it now, but my kids have become more and more interested in my phone, so I need all the protection I can get! I wanted to get the Seidio Active, but it's not out yet. This looked pretty close.

I got this one the same day as my TB for like 19$. It feels good not too big but nice feel to it. But Im thinking of returning it if Ottorbox come out with a nice case.
 
I use the neoprene pouch that came with the Nexus One for my Incredible. I really wish that HTC provided something like that for all of their phones. I kept it in the pouch and didn't need a screen protector OR a case. It was also great to lay the phone on while it was charging (because the camera liked to poke out of the back).

Since I am pretty sure that the pouch isn't going to fit the hulking Thunderbolt, I'm not sure what to do. I'm pretty sure that I'll be getting the extended battery for it, though. I hope beyond hope that something sexy comes out for it.
 
I went with the Seidio Innocase II combo in sapphire blue and just received it yesterday. Very happy with the result! The fit is tight and the case is thin enough that I can still put the phone in my pocket. The Innocase II is a two-piece case, kind of like shirt and pants for your phone; the two pieces lock internally in the back so it won't come off easily, the latch isn't visible but there is a seam around the "waist". I like the color, very dark and pearlized, and the feel is soft and easy to grip. The inside of the case is lined with felt to cushion and protect the phone.

I ordered it in the combo with a holster that holds the phone while it is in the case. The holster holds the phone facing in so its screen is protected and is lined with felt as well. The belt clip is 7-way adjustable so it can be worn either vertically or horizontally facing either direction (which means you can position it the way you want even if you're left-handed). The release clip that holds the phone and the belt clip are both spring-loaded and seem pretty heavy duty.

Overall, definitely not a cheap solution, but it appears to be good quality. I think I'll be happy with it.

FYI, Amazon is selling for $25 vs $30 direct from Seidio.

Rather than starting a whole new thread and annoying people, I decided to post my question about cases here.

I am getting my TB within the next week and I want to order a TPU case, but Verizon's is not out yet. I found some ones that I like online but I have never heard of the websites. Has anyone ever heard of these sites and if so, are they reliable?

cheaper than anywhere else and very reliable, i have used it for every case since my BB Storm.
 
Been a big fan of Seidio cases. Not cheap but a perfect fit...great feel and good quality. Also used their screen protectors and they are also good. Didn't so much care for the zagg ones...but its personal preference really. If you use a holster, then the combo from Seidio is a slick setup. I don't really care for the active x combo though because the silicone part makes it hard to put your phone in the spring clip.
 
I went to Best Buy and bought a case. It's wonderful! Not big and bulky and it has a great grip. It's a smooth outside, not rubbery feeling.

I also bought screen protectors from Verizon. I was worried about other ones being too sticky or not working, so I figured I was safe to trust the store that sold the phone! :)

mine is gloss black... argyle print on the inside, but you can't see it at all on the outside. looks like he's not offering those anymore. :(

and a word of wisdom for anyone considering one of these types of cases: DO NOT GET CLEAR! it looks good for awhile, but they always end up turning amber/brown. i have seen this happen to many different clear TPU cases, from multiple manufacturers.
