Thunderbolt Charging Issues

Lately my thunderbolt when put on charger overnight, usually around 30-40%, ill wake up and only have 50-60% charged. WTF? never used to do this. the plug is in the whole time and no power outages at house. any ideas?
 
Try that first. If it doesn't work, the connector on your phone may be busted and you'll have to get a warranty replacement to fix it.
 
Could be the battery. If replacing the charger doesn't work, you might have to try for a replacement battery.
 
Have you noticed that the phone is really hot when you pick it up?

The charge circuit will shut down recharging the battery if it gets too hot.
 
In my case, I watch to see if the orange charge indicator is lit. Move everything around till it is then hope for the best. There is no problem when using the cable I have at work.

I suppose I need a docking station at home.
 
It sounds like you may be using a charger other than the one sent with the phone. If this is the case you must ensure the charger can supply enough current for hte Thunderbolt. Check the output mA rating on the charger (printed on charger). Use a charger with a rating of the original Thunderbolt charger or higher. Symptoms include no charging or slow/incomplete charging.

This happened to me once also. The charger for the Bluetooth headset is right next to the one for the Thunderbolt and they are both micro USB.

One night I got them mixed up and plugged the Bluetooth charger into the Thunderbolt. I picked up an uncharged Thunderbolt the next day.
 
The USB connector on my phone broke yesterday. Tried 3 different cables, none worked. When I plug any of the 3 in, the camera flash turns on lol.

Replacement phone will be here on Monday.
