Thunderbolt comes out today!

I call BS on this until someone shows me the phone in their hands later today..... I still think the release date is 2/24/11. Next week Thursday can't come fast enough......
 
Nonetheless, I work at Union Square New York, NY where there is a 24 hour best buy. I'm hitting it up at 9AM to check for my bolt before I head to work!
 
There's a difference between having inventory and releasing it for sale. I've seen BB Mobiles stock and item behind the counter, locked in cabinets that was still a week away from release.
 
I just called Verizon and they said not today. The CSR I spoke with said the 18th according to her records. She did not have pricing yet. Happily, I can renew my contract on the 21st so I can check out how everyone likes theirs (I'm concerned about the battery life... my Incredible barely makes it a half of a day without a huge oversized extended battery.)

Until we get one we wont know how long the battery will last but it makes since that with the new efficient processor it should have pretty decent battery life. Also it will have an updated 2.2.1 OS and updated Sense if I read the stats right. It definitely runs smoother and faster then the EVO. Fingers crossed.

Fingers crossed here too. Can't believe it is already rooted.

I've noticed it too. It's like foreplay, haha. But the thing is, I can't imagine a phone releasing without an official release date. Maybe I'm just not aware of how these things work, and I'd love to be wrong, because I'd love to have this phone ASAP. But I'm concerned it will be a bit.

Dont be too concerned because its will be bad. LOL Not many smartphones last more than a day with moderate use. This one will be no exception. Far as I can tell the blackberrys are the only smartphones that have decent battery life, htc is the worst unfortunately. I will probably get a thunderbolt regardless.:cool:
