hey I have a verizon iphone 4 32gb and one guy offered to trade me his htc thunderbolt with the htc extended battery for my phone and the other guy offered me the droid increidible 2 and $40 for my phone. I live in a 4g area which one is better?

:DBoth phones are almost the same inside. It mostly comes down to 4G and also if you plan to root. As the dinc2 isn't rootable but the bolt is.

Waiting for the charge guy to show up. You know who you are:D

Thunderbolt without a doubt. You will have a HUGE difference in internet speeds bc of the 4g, and you will be set with the extended battery. I don't have very big hands, but after 1 day, the extended battery is no issue at all. Love it.

Also, bigger screen, and the kickstand are also nice touches! I think it's a no-brainer. There really is no advantage you get by getting the incredible 2 over the thunderbolt in my honest opinion.

And that doesn't even include what can be done with rooting it.

I see what he doing. He gives up his tbolt keeps his unlimited data and uses it on your iphone. You get his tbolt and verizon recognizes your account as you if you were still on your iphone and iphone unlimited data runs out and not grandfathered like the tbolt. The guy who gets your iphone makes out and you are the fall guy. Retail value on an iphone 4 with 32mg is like $799 the retail on a tbolt is $569. The resale value on iphone way more as well used. Why you screwing yourself? You won't be able to get insurance on the tbolt or it's warranty either because you originally didn't get the phone. The iphone is a very realilble phone. Many people already on there 4th and 5th tbot. You better wise up man

Not everybody wants an iphone. I sure as hell don't. What a certain phone may be with worth to the masses may not be worth the same to him. Why keep the one you're not as happy with because it's "worth" more?

Im a little lost. If he already has unlimited data then he's fine. As far as insurance. All he has to do is switch to assurion. I have had the same VZ insurance since my blackberry. After, i bought a pixi, inc2, and TB all full retail and my stuff just transferred over. And sure his iPhone would be worth more but it's not better than the TB. Which he shouldn't sell since he keeps his unlimited.

The Tbolt is better I won't disagree. It has bigger screen it's faster and more open. It doesn't require itunes it has flash you can get swype and stuff like that. I can't disagree with the facts. The main problem is a year from now that iPhone will be working like the day it was new and chances are he will be on his 3rd Tbolt by then and after the year mark, well no more phone replacements. If the Tbolt was more reliable I would say it's the better phone. A year from now that iPhone can still be sold for a few hundred the Tbolt will be in the trash.
