Help Thunderbolt screen "creaking" problem

Hello everyone. I'm new to the forum and just got the Thunderbolt, despite all the bad reviews I read (loved it in the store, what can I say?). I love the phone, however, I'm getting a "creaking" or clicking sound when I press on the left side of my screen. I really like everything else about the phone. I'm hesitant to return it because it's good performance, so I wanted to see if I was being too overly concerned about the "clicking" issue. Thanks.

I'd take it back. Mine is a refurb, but it is mechanically perfect. (Well, I guess I have a teeny tiny bit of light leakage--like a pinpoint that I can only see in total darkness.) Its a touch screen phone, I can't see that creak not getting worse as you press on the screen thousands of times. Not want you wanted to hear, but...

Thanks for the advice. Turns out it was the screen protector I put on, clicking against the side of the device when I pushed on that side of the screen. Duh! At least I figured it out. Thanks again.
