Thunderbolt vs Charge

Well, it's time for me to bite the bullet and get a new phone. I'm using the old Glyde by Verizon. I'm torn between the 'Bolt and the Charge. Any suggestions? Both look awesome!

Hi Carapoff,

Welcome to Android Forums! I tell you what. I'm going to move this question to where more folks can see it. :)

IMO htc android phones are the way to go. i had the HTC eris and the HTC incredible. the incredible was awesome. i have the sumsung fascinate right now and it's a piece of garbage

Tbolt does simultaneous voice and data, over 4g and 3g, from everything I've read the Samsung Charge doesn't. Tbolt comes with a 32 gig card, not sure what the charge is packaged with. Charge has SuperAMOLED Plus screen, gorgeous, but the Super LCD from the Tbolt is nothing to turn your nose at, not the AMOLED plus though.

Samsung = notorious for not releasing software updates
HTC = one of the best for releasing software and also has a ton of community support behind it.

Comes down to personal pref though, handle both phones and see what you like, also take advantage of the 14 day trial period. I find that if I'm not doing heavy surfing or web browsing by using LTE On/Off and turning 4g off I get at least double my battery life. Also doesn't hurt being rooted with a custom rom and kernel.
