Anyone know of an app. that can "Scan" event tickets and verify they're legit?? So peeps don't get scammed by scalpers???

Well, all the barcode contains is an ID number. I don't think there is a public database for ticket ID numbers.

That would be sweet though- I go to a lot of concerts without tickets and buy them on the lot...would be a nice feature for a phone...if it is even possible!

That would be a good thing to have. Don't see how it could possibly work though since someone could print out multiple copies of the same ticket.

I know there have been people scammed here recently buying tickets to the NBA finals.

Not going to happen. It would have to compare the bar code to the Event holders private database.

Also, you can copy 100 Legit Tickets, they will all come back as "good" tickets in theory.
The first one to get scanned, gets into th event. The Other 99 people who show up with the same tickets (Bar codes) will be denied.
