I've had my Evo since June 4, 2010. I have not been very happy with the Evo or Sprint for that matter. It seems as though there is a resounding problem with the Evo and/or Sprint in that this phone cannot keep the proper time, date, or location at all. When I notice that the date/time/location is wrong, I go and update profiles, which will correct it for about 2 minutes and then bam, it goes back to the wrong information. I turn GPS off, which fixes it for several moments, but reverts back to the incorrect time/location/date. I turn off "use network provided time", reset it to the proper date/time zone, and it holds for a few minutes and then goes back. For example, right now, my phone says that it is 3:38am, July 24th 2047 and that I'm in Brighton (wherever the heck Brighton is...). It's actually 10:38pm, March 14th 2011, and i'm in Madison Wisconsin. I'm rather frustrated with this problem, as each time I confront Sprint with it, they say that they have "never heard of such an issue".
Is there any fix for this irritating problem? (It's causing big problems with text messaging times, email time and date stamps as well as emails that are being sent out- I use the phone for work and personal.)
