Help Time difference between Clock and notification bar

My clock widget shows the correct time, but the time in the top RH corner (notification bar?) is +8 hrs of this.

This problem remains the same even if I manually set the time and disable automatic updates.

The problem is, any alarms which are set go off 8 hrs early.

Any solutions yet? The time on my notification bar doesnt even change its just froze.

Hi.

Not sure about the froozen clock display in the task bar.

But when you are in the "display" clock app, are you sure you have chosen the correct time zone? I think the app can show the time in different places, but the "system" time in the OS is set in the settings, where you specify your time zone. But when you put an alarm on, it will of course go off at the "system time".

But I'm not sure, this is just a guess/tip
