Time display frozen

I'm not sure if this is from related or ics generally as I haven't been able to find any other examples.

The time will freeze in the notification screen randomly. The system time is OK - I.e. if I set alarms they still work and show the actual time, even though the time at the top of the screen is different.

I have the phone set to use network time and am running rootbox aokp 1.8 (4.0.4) but have had this happen in other ics rooms too.

Any advice appreciated.

I have experienced this a couple of times when flashing between ROM's. Usually, wiping cache and dalvik sorts this.
