Help time for a master reset

Munoz303

Newbie
Im getting ready to do a reset. Phone was having some issues, but now its not. But, Ive already dumped all my stuff on my computer. So I figured why not (learning experience.) Anyone have any tips or tricks on doing this? All my contacts are on gmail. Pics/vids/ringtones are stored on my home computer.

Im running Jelly bean right now (will that change with a reset?)

Also, I only play 2 games (burger, logo quiz.) But cant figure out how to get my progress saved to my sd card or computer? Can this be done, or will i lose it all?

Other then that, I think all my bases are covered. anything?

Well, all you need to do now is go to Settings, Back up and reset, Factory data reset. You won't lose Jelly Bean by doing so, that is the firmware you have, and that is what will be there. If you need to go back to ICS, you need to flash the firmware through Odin.

By the way, for the data of those game, unless you have root access and use Titanium Backup, the other way might be using Carbon Backup, although I haven't tested it yet.

Theres a few other apps for backing up app data like game progress etc but yeah youd have to root 1st.
Even without root, once youve reset and log back into the phone, it should give you the option to download all the apps u had on it so make sure youre on wifi
